In his first at-bat coming off the DL, Nationals’ LF Bryce Harper homers in the Bottom of the 1st to give the Nationals a 1-0 lead over the Milwaukee Brewers. A left-knee bursitis kept Harper from missing 31 games as he aggravated it on May 13th running into the wall at Dodger Stadium. With Harper’s absence, the Washington Nationals are 6.5 games back in the National League East behind the first-place Atlanta Braves meanwhile the Nats sit at second place.
This was Bryce Harper’s first at-bat since May 26th and Harper hit his first home run of the season in his first at-bat of the regular season.
